Every week, I’ll make a crazy but somewhat legitimate prediction for an upset in the college football world.
Last week didn’t go so well. Auburn pulled away from Ole Miss in the 2nd quarter and didn’t look back.
I’m a bit short on time, so I won’t dress this one up as usual.
This week’s upset special:
Texas A&M gives Oklahoma its second loss of the season.
The Line: Oklahoma -3
It’s the Home of the 12th Man. Texas A&M’s fans should be plenty rowdy for their nightcap with the Sooners. This is set up to be a Big 12 shootout. Both teams like to air it out and they’re averages on scoring offense and defense are almost identical.
Texas A&M doesn’t give up as many yards as Oklahoma does, though. I expect the Aggies defense to show up and get a few stops in front of the home crowd. They’ll do enough to give the Aggies the edge.
Ryan Tannehill threw for a school record 449 yards last week against Texas Tech. Expect him to have a big game again.
The Aggies knock off the Sooners, 38-35.
